Having just watched my first box set, the excellent U.S series 'True Detective'. I was looking forward to my second venture in to box-set viewing. What a contrast here, the story structure is so grimly predictable, a kind of 'Eastenders' for the world of policing in a Yorkshire town. For the uninitiated, I will try and list the grittty 'true -life' predicaments that are scatter-shot through this melodrama without giving the plot away.
First, a divorced WPC grandmother, living with a sister who's an ex- heroin addict, is bringing up her dyslexic grandson, the product of a a rape that led to his mother hanging herself, the mother was of course the daughter of the WPC, (keep up), her son… Read more

! don't know if you read your reviews Dan, but I just wanted to let you know that I have immensely enjoyed your two albums for years now. They have never left being close to my cd player in all that time. Thank you for making music that is genuinely lasting and well, beautiful.
