The amount of effects, battery power, SD compatability, and built in sequencer mean this is probably the only sample you'd ever need. There are a few issues, however:

-Not all SD cards seem to work properly (in fact, most SD cards don't work properly), but if you manage to buy one recommended on the sp-forums, you can't go wrong.

What's more is that the phones loop over your ears, and the cable is constantly being bent at a right angle from each phone, yet no short developed in either ear from this, so they're pretty robust for what they are.

The sound isn't great as you'd imagine, but I'd never go as far as calling it 'tinny' or anything- they're probably about equal to the cheapest skull candy earphones you can buy. I'll definitely be buying another pair as a spare pair of earphones
