In My Own Words:
Well drifting majestically to retirement at 60 and then I intend to spend time travelling, reading and listening to music. I am a guy of simple tastes and just want to get through life causing the minimum of hurt to others and if possible help where I can.

Reading both crime fiction and history from 1900 to 1950. Enjoy CSI, Bones, ER, NYPD Blue and Boston Legal. Music, well I've been around awhile so from the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Neil Young to Moby, Goo Goo Dolls.

Veronica Mars Movie [Blu-ray] [2014] [US Import] Blu-ray ~ Francis Capra
It helps to be a fan of the original series, which was cut short after just three seasons. However, in saying that the script is tight, witty and the acting up to scratch. An easy way to spend a couple of hours.

5.0 out of 5 stars Veronica Mars in 2014, 27 Oct 2013
I loved the series and was gutted when they decided not to go with Series 4 which would have seen Veronica starting out at the FBI Academy.A pitch scene which lasts a few minutes is included at the end of Series 3. If you see this scene you may well agree with me that I cannot understand why it didn't secure a 4th season.
However, funding has been found for a movie of Veronica Mars with shooting to start in 2014, so something to look forward.

4.0 out of 5 stars Read the book, 21 July 2013
To fully appreciate this one needs to read the book that accompanies the TV series. The series is but a snapshot of what the book contains complete with referenced sources, etc. I found it depressing reading at times but worthwhile all the same. Unfortunately it will be lambasted and undermined in the US by the same media, Government and big business it sets out to criticise and expose. A very good and surprisingly easy read, and us Brits don't get off lightly with the underhand tricks committed to preserving a dying Empire.
