Pure Legato 2 Luxury DAB Micro System [Electronics&hellip by Pure
Pure Legato 2 Luxury DAB Micro System [Electronics]I think some of the other negative reviews are overly generous...It is awesomely bad - from the loud fan noise mentioned by another buyer (my commiserations as a fellow sufferer btw) to the time-stopping responsiveness of the unit, right through to its untimely failure; this product has it all. It is the classic looks-good but b@@@@@ awful product. Or to put it another way, if Moon and Entwhistle were the ultimate combo, then this one is the Chas n' Dave version. To top it all, it's a piece of Chi-Chi tat, dressed up as quality 'UK' item.

It's still (even more)relevant in another major way: the bien-pensant liberal… Read more

Naive liberals would allow them to do so; in fact they would encourage them by creating the concept of multiculturalism, with its relativising of values and its "your-values-are-as-good-as-my-values" approach.

It's now over 40 years since Powell's shattering pamphlet "Freedom and Reality" appeared , with its foreshadowing of just what was to come. Powell outlined the rise of "communitarianism" or the development of competing, even antagonistic values, among people coming to Britain from cultures that… Read more
