Wonderful! I loved the whole thing. There are interesting sub plots through this and it is all extremely clever. The book touches on and deals with holocaust victims and graphic descriptions which are at times very and harrowing. It is also uplifting and heartwarming and has a good ending which i did not see coming. Wonderfully written and a beautiful way with words, this lady never lets you down. I would highly recommend, but do have a box of tissues at times as it will make you cry.

I found this a really hard read because of the dark content, and I do not mind brutal and bloody. It is bleak and hopeless, but I think as this is the first one in a series, it may be interesting to see how the plot develops. I see what the author has tried to do, but as none of the characters are likable, it is a window into a very miserable situation with no uplifting parts at all. Incredibly nasty bad guys, and perhaps not enough engagement with the one who may be redeemable. Not sure if I will go on to read the next book, but curious to see where the author will go with it too. If you like dark, dark stuff then this is for you. Well written, but will give you a bad dream for sure!

It's full of action and adventure, liked the twins theme and found it fast paced. Totally sci-fi storyline and set in the future with lots of weird and wonderful ideas for technology. I did feel that the relationship with the two central characters could have been warmer and a bit more in depth, but it is certainly an entertaining and fast read.
