THE FACEBOOK KILLER: Part 1. Social networking - H&hellip by M.L. STEWART

I had my doubts about this book from the very first page. I got through to the end of the trial and skipped ahead to a graphic murder scene and decided to give up. The prose is painfully amateurish, the main character unsympathetic (problematic when he goes through so much crap that should elicit at least a LITTLE sympathetic feeling) and the story itself didn't grip me at all.

And you have to pay to read the end? I recommend giving this a pass.
Chinese Rice and Noodles: With Appetizers, Soups a&hellip by Su-Huei Huang
I bought this book on the enthusiastic suggestion of a friend who told me that she'd made about a third of the recipes with no misses yet. I haven't made nearly as many of the dishes as she has, but on the strength of the several I have made I definitely recommend this book. As long as you've got a decently stocked Asian market nearby, these recipes are quite simple to make. I particularly enjoy the section neatly listing common ingredients in Chinese cooking. As for the recipes themselves, the lion's head meatballs and ma po tofu dishes are especially tasty. This is a great book for beginners!

It's a bit smaller and cheaper feeling than I was expecting, but then I'm used to the Master Lock brand of combination locks in the USA. Not complaining, though; it works as it should.
