I've been waiting to read this book for ages and I wasn't disappointed. Millar comes across in post-race interviews as a fragile and tortured soul sometimes and in this book you can see why. It is a beautifully written account of how commercial pressures tipped him over the edge into the murky world of doping and the effect that it had on him and those around him. I can't recommend this book enough.
Loved HIWTYJ and this is a brilliant update from the best TdF for years. Full of witty anecdotes and written in Ned's inimitable style a must for any die-hard cycling fan. I didn't put this down from start to finish.
