Kathryn Bigelow continues to flourish in the director role as she grinds out another masterpiece. Zero Dark Thirty follows the story behind the decade long hunt for Bin laden. The film starts off surprisingly slowly, considering the nature of the story, but it sets it up nicely for what follows as the team of CIA agents close in on their target. A great cast with names and faces that you will recognize from various other films and TV shows, such as Jason Clarke (Public Enemies & The Chicago Code), Jessica Chastain (The Help) and Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights & King Kong).

The Blu Ray really helps with this film as it is has scenes in very light or very dark surroundings. It… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Tarantino strikes again!, 29 July 2013
You may have thought that nothing could top Inglorious Basterds but Quentin Tarantino delivers yet another masterpiece. A star studded ensemble, headed by Christoph Waltz and Jamie Foxx, take you into the very real and gruesome world of slavery in the deep south of the USA. It follows Django (Foxx) and Shultz (Waltz) as they try to hunt down wanted men across the country and attempt to set Django's wife free from an infamous plantation owner, Candie (Di Caprio). Sam Jackson even makes a memorable appearance.

A must buy for any fans of action and gore, as is the way with Tarantino, there is a fair amount of blood. The Blu Ray version really helps bring out the finer details that… Read more

I purchased this laptop before I went off to university in 2008, and I still have it to this day, infact, I am using it to write this review. When it arrived it was as stylish as it looks in the pictures and was really easy to set-up. I am not an expert in laptops or PC's but the descriptions and specifications were easy to understand and not too technical. I researched laptops in my price range and found that this laptop was all I would ever need, hence why I stil have it now. It easily matched, and sometimes beat, the specifications of laptops with a similar price. I looked at Sony Vaio, Asus, Toshiba and Dell and all were either more expensive for lower specifications or just generally… Read more
