Placebo's new EP left me excited for a new album, not because I thought the EP was lacking, but because the music is fantastic.
The title track- "B3" is a classic form of placebo rock- Molko's vocals soar and leave the listener singing along in a heartbeat. The heavy synth sound in the beginning is reminiscent of some of Placebo's older tracks like "I Do" or "Taste in Men" and adds an interesting twist to the song. The guitar is heavy and solid, making for a powerful start to the EP, while the lyrics are honest and thought provoking.
The second song, "I Know You Want To Stop", is a great cover. The drums are very interesting and add an infectious beat to the odd tune… Read more
