These do the job sound-wise, but two of them had torn vertically from the top within a couple weeks of buying them, rending them unusable. My previous pair of earphone tips, made by Shure (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Shure-PA910-Black-Sleeves-Earphones/dp/B000NDMJVW/ref=pd_sim_ce_5), lasted me well over six months before showing any signs of wear. They had a securer fit than these ones, too.

EDIT: I originally gave these two stars, but have now lowered the score to one as, in the time since I wrote the foregoing, another two of them have developed tears. Massive bag. Non-permeable, in short term at least. Same price as you'd pay for a bag of twelve crappy little balloons in a shop. Only downside is that the openings are slightly too big for certain nozzles, so you have to hold them in place carefully, risking leakage while they're inflating.

When these arrived (in timely fashion) I was pleasantly surprising by how high the quality of them was. They seemed like they ought to have cost several times as much. They are comfortable and give you a feeling of greater strength and control. Since I've started using them (for resistance weights lifting) I've stopped getting wrist fatigue, and, as you'd expect, also stopped getting callouses on my palms.

My only reservation is that the finger cut-offs could be a little longer: I've now started getting slight callouses just below the first joints of a couple of my fingers, instead of where I used to get them (at the top of the palm, just below the fingers). These are much more… Read more
