Tad Williams' recent style leaves out some of the whimsy and side-tracking which slowed down his epics Shadowmarch and Otherland, and focusses on the story.
The second in the Bobby Dollar series continues in the same light-hearted tone as the first, and keeps the action going at a cracking pace.
