Never coming back is the fourth in a series of books about a journalist turned detective called David Raker, who has made it his mission to find the missing.
He is asked by an old flame to loook into the disappearance of her sister and all her family a year before. Set in the UK and America this has all the makings of a brilliant book, but i felt there was something lacking. Although i enjoyed the story i wasn't riveted by it and i wouldn't seek out other Tim weaver books.
For me the main flaw was the sheer complexity of the plot, and the motive for all the crimes felt a little poor. I personally prefer my crime books to be a little more believable which is why I tend to be fan of… Read more
