Midnight Meat Train [Blu-ray] Blu-ray ~ Bradley Cooper
Midnight Meat Train [Blu-ray] Blu-ray ~ Bradley Cooper
I was quite impressed with this film and the blu-ray quality in particular. The picture is very dark but it's meant to be, the story is pretty dark too.
I don't recall the 7.1 audio being quite as good as I'd hoped but the picture looked great. Some of the CG blood looked terrible but I have yet to see CG blood that looked any good.

Vinnie Jones plays yet another mute role and I think he's great but there is a good reason this time. Bradly Cooper also plays his part very well.

I really liked the story and how it was put together. I also liked the end too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Maniac Cop 1 of 3, 26 May 2014
I didn't know there were 3 Maniac Cop films but there are. I only the Special Edition Sleeved reversible cover version of this film but I glad I found out there are 2 more.

The Beyond [Blu-ray] [1981] [Region Free] Blu-ray ~ David Warbeck
I have all 3 of these limited edition sleeved and reversible cover Blu-Ray films from the unofficial The Gates Of Hell Trilogy.
The first one City Of The Living Dead was amazing but I found The Beyond to be a bit of a let down.
The story is pretty good, the acting is not quite so good and some of the make up on the Zombies looks a bit rubbish. I get this whole classic horror thing and I understand Lucio Fulci is one of the greats. For me though this film didn't quite cut it,
The sound due to the poor ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) and Foley (Footsteps, doors closing and so on) work looks quite out of sync. This is not a fault of the authoring house it is just a case of… Read more
