I'm 16 and have always been interested in the great plague period of british midevil history. The book was perhaps a little basic for my years, however, the description and imformation provided in this book was amazing. The first person naritive, was a privilage, as not only did the book effectively explain what it was like to survive the black death but it also descibed what it felt like. It was a strong book from the beginning to the end, and the climax of the book was great. Because it was a short read (i read it in one sitting) this book can fit comforally round revision and is a great break from school history books ect.
i would definetly recomend it, can't wait to read the sequel!
