10W LED SMD FLOOD LIGHT WATERPROOF IP65 PIR Sensor&hellip by A5 Products

So far it's working OK, although I can't get the sensor to detect movement more than a couple of paces from the unit (previous ones in the same position needed to be "blinkered" to stop picking up movements over 10 feet away!).

Tried the bluetooth option first, but there are two problems:

This is a full-size, solid-feeling piece of kit. There's just nothing to criticise - it works immediately, with no extra software. And the back/forward buttons are great.

Going back to bags was a bit of a worry, but I worked out that each bag is 3x the capacity of the Dyson, so should last well over a month. And they cost less than the Miele equivalent (ordered online for collection at John Lewis). I always used to empty the Dyson into a small plastic binbag anyway, so in environmental terms I'm still a bad guy.

First impressions are that it follows me around more easily, has an enormous range which means no need for extension cables, and feels very well built. Although it's more bulky than the Dyson, it stores more neatly and paradoxically takes up… Read more
