The City of Strangers by Michael Russell
The City of Strangers by Michael Russell
I hugely enjoyed CITY OF SHADOWS when it first came out and have been waiting for the next in the series with anticipation. It doesn't disappoint. As with the first book, it's wonderfully atmospheric capturing New York at an exciting time. I thoroughly recommend it for fans of the first book and, indeed, those new to the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best possible taste!, 16 May 2013
I loved the authors previous biography on LIONEL BART so awaited KENNY EVERETT with anticipation. It's hugely entertaining and has revealing chapters on his association with The Beatles, Pirate Radio and his early experiments with tape recorders. It's wonderfully witty and will appeal not only to fans of Kenny but anyone with an interest in the era. Highly recommended.

This is a terrific read. Gives a real insight into the wonderful world of Bart. Great attention to detail - even a description of the clothes hanging in his wardrobe! I couldn't put it down.
