5.0 out of 5 stars A great read, 3 Aug 2009
Bought this as a last minute filler for holiday reading - it was "unputdownable". Gives a very good account of the events leading up to the bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War. Recommend this book to all.

The Greatest Book about the Greatest Game, September 1, 2003

4.0 out of 5 stars More Please !, 1 Sep 2003
Just like Donegan's tee shots - this book is too short.
Continues in the vein of "Four-iron in my soul" - very observant and very funny. This book will cause a few red faces in the golf marshalling world - worth reading (maybe a bit dear at a tenner for the hardback !) (Yes, Stuart you can borrow mine !).
I would also recommened Californian Dreaming if you like Donegan's wit and style - it opens up the world of United Staes Used Car Sales Techniques ?
