5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant !, 16 Sep 2014
If you like legal dramas then watch the "Good Wife". In my opinion this is #1, simply the best.
The Good Wife is Alicia Florrick played by the wonderful Julianna Margulies who is sensual, feminine and yet with the bite of a rattle snake.
I don't want to give out spoilers but I think it's common knowledge that this is the series where Alicia and Cary
go out on their own and end up in conflict with Lockhart Gardner.
If you are new to this series please buy the previous seasons and watch them first it will help ratchet up the tension and make everything clear.
If you are a Good Wife veteran then this is the finest season so far, it just keeps getting better.

Firefly - The Complete Series [Blu-ray] [2002] Blu-ray ~ Nathan Fillion

This has become one of my 3 favourite Sci-fi shows of all time.
Set at some point in the future it is the story of a band of smugglers and likeable rogues aboard the transport ship "Serenity", a Firefly class vessel, hence the series title.
A western set in space sounds like a recipe for disaster but this works brilliantly.
All of the characters are well drawn and interesting and a lot of money was spent on the sets such as the ship etc.
The are no weak episodes in the series and it is a real shame that some idiot at the studio cancelled this before it ever got going.
If this were a BBC production it would be a global success by now.
An absolute gem of… Read more
R.I.P.D.: Rest in Peace Department [Blu-ray 3D + B&hellip Blu-ray ~ Ryan Reynolds

R.I.P.D. is a graphic novel / comic brought to life in film. It is played tongue in cheek with the standout performance delivered by Jeff Bridges who acts Ryan Reynolds off the screen.
There is plenty of humour and cartoon violence. The idea is that dead police officers continue policing dead villains in the afterlife.
But the villains have a plan to take over the world and only our two heroes can stop them (We hope).
this whole film is an enjoyable romp of mindless, fast paced fun that is hard not to like.
The 3D effect is very good and if you are in to 3D then this film is well worth adding to your collection.
Overall i liked this film in either format, but given… Read more
