There have been a few rpg's on the next-gen market, titles such as Mass effect, Oblivion, enchanted arms, eternal sonata blue dragon and that complete mock up which was two worlds.
The over all favourates out of these have been Mass effect and Oblivion, because they were made by westerners by westeners, like wise the Japanese prefer theirs, easteners for easteners. The east rpg's prefer turn based combat, dramatic story lines, distinctive charachter and landscape designs and xp. We prefer medieval landscapes with Goblins or aliens, with a free roaming combat system.
