Frommer's Boston 2008 (Frommer's Complete Guides) by Marie Morris
4.0 out of 5 stars Extremely helpful, 27 Feb 2014
I could not have had the marvellous holiday I had without this book's guidance. Only one single dislike: the edition I got showed a "hidden alleyway and garden" on the cover - it looked like the entry to heaven - but it was not even mentioned in the contents and could not be found. However, all the historic and ground-breaking buildings were made easily accessible, and very importantly to me, the restaurant guide was excellent. Very highly recommended. You must know where to go when you arrive or you will be robbed right, left and center. This book guides you in all the ways you need.
Fever Of The Bone: 6 (Tony Hill) by Val McDermid
Val Mc Dermid and Tony Hill never disappoint. Real page-turner, can't-put-it-down. Great plot. I have learned to always the best writing, characters, plots from McDermid, and this again proved me right. Get it.
Wire in the Blood: Completely Wired [DVD] DVD ~ Robson Green

As a lifelong Val McDermid fan, I had read all her books at least twice. These DVDs really disappointed me. Robson Green as Tony was totally unlike the wound-up, almost manic psychologist she portrayed. I am amazed that Val McDermid gave her permission for this portrayal. If you are a Val Mc Dermid fan, don't shatter your images by struggling through these DVDs. Big waste of money better spent on her next book.
