The Rolling Stones: GRRR! [Blu-Ray Audio]
I'd already bought the 3 disc version for a Glastonbury-bound daughter and was merely intrigued by the idea of blu ray CDs. I have a collection of audio DVDs and have a good surround set up.
Now the clarity of this collection is fabulous. I don't think it's surround sound , nor should it be. It's the quality of the little noises, the drums, the bells and whistles, the harmonies, it's these things which just stand out like never before.
To have such a compilation blasting away while you do your ironing and tidying up after the children, now that's pleasure!
Dire Straits: Alchemy Live [Blu-ray] [2010] [Regio&hellip Blu-ray ~ Dire Straits
Considering this is a fairly old, classic recording, the transfer to Blu Ray is lovely, especially the sound which envelops you like a snug blanket, you're in the audience man! All the classics a there, Knopfler looking very sprightly and uncreased! The guitar licks are made all the crisper for the DTS HD treatment and the picture, while a trifle woolly at times, is still great on my extremely new and critical TV. Run out and buy it
It's taken 53 years to play the piano this good T-&hellip Mucky Paw Store
I have been told to correct 'good' to 'well' but I argued the 'good' gives the shirt that nice common, uneducated feel, whereas pianists who have struggled all their lives to get good are usually a bit sad and very well educated middle class. I shall wear the wrong grammar with pride, innit.
