I was really excited for this to be released as soon as I heard about it. I am a huge country music fan, and being 17 years old I get teased a lot for being one. If only they knew what they were missing! This is a really great CD, and very well put together. The outside packaging looks great! As do the discs themselves.
The majority of the first disc are probably some of the more commercially successful tracks on the 3 discs.

Before He Cheats - Carrie Underwood
If I Die Young - The Band Perry
Barton Hollow - The Civil Wars
Angel - Sarah McLachlan

I have just received my physical copy of Some Hearts. After previously listening to album download I had on my IPod, I knew I just had to get the CD.
Wasted - The album opens with this beautifully told story. It really gives you an impression of how perfect the storytelling is going to be for the duration of the CD. Wasted is simply stunning - 10/10

If you have the opportunity of buying Miranda's self-titled album then don't even hesitate for a second, first of all it's mega rare and I know many people that would kill to get a copy of this, second it's actually a brilliant album! Especially for one that Miranda herself was handing out as a 'demo' CD!
Somebody Else - This is the album's opening track, it's mid-tempo and it's great! Not the best on the album but does a very good job at getting you excited to hear what's to come! - 8/10
Texas Pride - This song is written about Miranda's Texan roots! It's fabulous! One of my favourites. It's a fast paced song and really makes you feel like your in Texas listening to… Read more
