Theatrhythm was definitely a game that I thought was too cute for me. I honestly didn't think that I'd enjoy it as much as I did. In fact from release for about 45 days I've played it for an hour daily during my commute (I skipped a day, lost my bonus and didn't pick it up [or the 3DS for that matter] since).

The game has several hours worth of gameplay and since I'd preordered the game, it came with a stylus and some stickers. The stylus was actually quite handy for the game as it had the right amount of touch sensitivity and length that's required for a rhythm action game.

Personally speaking it's been a long time since I've played a Mario Kart game (since the N64), I thought it had become quite stale and dull (Honestly speaking not a big fan of the series, Mario and games like that) but this game is actually enjoyable.
Firstly it offers 16 playable characters, 8 of which are available to you from the start (First game in the series, I believe that features a playable Lakitu) and of course the characters are divided into weight classes. There are 32 tracks, 16 new and 16 classic aka slightly remade tracks from previous games. You can now customise your cars which are mostly unlocked by winning the different series. The customisable parts are of different… Read more

I don't normally buy music games and the last I'd played was amplitude. My wife tried Rockband for the PSP and realized she enjoyed games like this a lot and we ended up getting it.
It's a lot of fun to play in groups as always. The tracks are a lot better than on the GH games and I prefer the control scheme in this game to GH really. The music really is what got me to purchase this title. Now yeah you can get a lot of tracks you like as DLC with either game but the selection that comes with this is better. It was down to this or RB2 but we liked the track selection on this more really. The music selection is more suited for people who grew up in the 80s-90s. Perhaps Harmonix and MTV… Read more
