Its a great game - one of my favourites in fact and Ive played it to death.
However nowadays the multiplayer is awash with hacked lobbies. People outside the map, infinite rocket launchers, high jumping, spam appearing across the screen - you get the idea.
Private matches are still OK and you find clean lobbies from time to time if your lucky. When its working as it should its a 5* game no doubt but because of all the hacking Im only going to give it 3.
Theres the single player campaign as well of course which is decent enough but its all about the multiplayer for me.

So I thought this would be right up my street but instead I feel like this is the worst £10 Ive spent since I got my 360.
Graphically this feels like a sloppy port - grainy visuals which can be stretched to fill the full screen or even worse an 'arcade mode' which is the same game but lower res - why?
But these games are all about the gameplay right? - I will fully admit that maybe I dont get it but other games have been fun and polished enough… Read more

I got into this game (and Xbox 360) late and I had high expecations of this.
My first impressions were that the graphics were a bit poor but that this was obviously in order to accomodate having dozens of zombies on screen at once. Gameplay wise - sure it was fun for while but it didnt seem a very substantial game.
Over time it grew on me however and I have sinced spent many hours playing the campaigns and versus mode. I still find it hard to say why though...
This game does require more teamwork than many other online shooters but I still think this aspect is overhyped, at least in campaign mode - more often that not it just boils down to sticking together… Read more
