I didn't know whether to laugh or cry through a lot of the book!

It uplifts you on so many levels it's difficult to know where to start. I could relate to almost every single scenario in this book. Clearly when you think you are going through something alone there are many other women going through exactly the same difficulties and emotions.

The author brought out the characterizations brilliantly. There were so many times I knew exactly how the ladies felt. Made me want to tear my hair out in frustration at their predicaments. Great, well written story.

I love the way this author really concentrates on the emotions and feelings of the two characters central to her books but still manages to weave an exciting and detailed tale with plenty of excellent descriptions.

This story is especially poignant to me having a deaf daughter of my own. Ms Taylor really picks up on the daily difficulties experienced and the isolation deaf people can encounter.

This book is part of a wonderful series but each book is an excellent stand alone. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A super story of true love.

Selene works for the police Dept helping discover whether suspects are telling the truth or not. Her powers are such that she leaves herself open to a humiliating and dangerous revenge attack.

I really liked the isolation that our heroine felt due to her ability to read minds/emotions with one touch of her hand.
Our fabulous hero Brandon couldn't care less that she has these special powers. He brought out feelings that she barely let herself believe she could have.

Of course the path to true love is never straight forward. There are some great mischief making characters in this book, from those in the police dept to… Read more
