Low ~ David Bowie
Low ~ David Bowie
5.0 out of 5 stars David Bowie ... Low, 26 April 2014
What can I say? It's Bowie being totally brilliant as usual. Bought it on initial release in 1977 on vinyl, then later on cassette, then on CD & again recently on CD again. Hard to believe it's 37 years old, it still sounds so fresh & current, but then most of Bowie's stuff does.
Dark Eyes Limited Edition Digipak ~ Half Moon Run
Half Moon Run have a unique sound, beautiful & at times haunting vocals from Devon, very cleverly crafted songs played effortlessly by the band, with subtle harmonies which suggest this is a very tight band of guys who are expert at executing their skills. Favourite songs? "Unofferable", "Need It" & "Give Up" are my personal favourites, but the whole album is just brilliant. For me I enjoy listening to it the most late at night with headphones on & my eyes closed. Definitely my best buy of this year yet & it'll be very hard to beat.

I only heard this a few months ago on Radio 1, the live lounge version is excellent, but then everything I've heard so far from them has been excellent. "Dark Eyes" is my favourite album currently.
