I do understand that the author has had a caesarean section herself. But she managed to display not only one's personal experience and opinion.
Caroline Oblasser approached 162 women with a questionnaire (also published in this book) and by non judgementally presenting these, is allowing each of these women in their own words to express their personal experiences and attitudes towards Caesarean Sections and scars very powerfully.
I very much like the approach of picturing the women in a very sensitive and aesthetic manner, "faceless", completely anonymous for everyone not knowing them, but still very intimately.
