5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource, 15 Oct 2013
I own a few of Kevin Wallace's books and I find his approach is clear and easy to follow. This book has 72 questions with good explanations and links to video clips to help a student prepare for the 100-101 CCENT exam. This book will not guarantee you will pass the exam but will aid you once you have a good working knowledge of the topics. An ethical practice exam which uses questions of the same type as the exam but not actually from the exam.
2.0 out of 5 stars clip breaks off easily, 10 July 2013
I have had two of these - first one the belt clip broke off and was replaced by amazon. Now the second has broken. I will now have to investigate an alternative. Other people may not have the same problems.
NX-OS and Cisco Nexus Switching: Next-generation D&hellip by Ron Fuller
5.0 out of 5 stars A Major improvement, 30 April 2013
When I ordered this book I was a little concerned as the first edition had poor reviews but I plan to study for CCNA DC and this was recommended. I am very impressed with the depth of technical detail, which expects the reader to be familiar with switching and routing. Although I have not started my DC studies I appreciate the configuration examples included using best practices fine-tuned in the field by the writers.
For a new comer to this field of networking I have already learnt so much through the clear explanations, and look forward to reading more on NX-OS. This is THE book to have by your workstation when setting up Nexus equipment as a source of reference.
