This album, as all good mix albums should, evolves, and as such is greater than the sum of it's parts.
It starts off slowly with the ambient Aminjig Nebere, gradually the music descends into darker electro territory (Summertime Cowboy adding a housey touch to what is not really a housey record). The mid section is a darkish ride through some (very, very good) minimal beats before we come back up for the best track of the CD in my opinion 'I Wanna Be Your Everything' by Alex Visconti before going out with the synths of 'Broken Dream'
It took me a few listens but I haven't had it off the CD player for a while now. It probably won't date too well… Read more
