After watching the first in this series I did not think anyhting could come close to it, this does an excellent job however. Emmanuelle continues on her sexual awakaning this time in the beautiful setting of Hong Kong with a more hands on attitde towards seduction. At times you wonder who is seducing whom and picture yourself under her caresses........

5.0 out of 5 stars vitual affair, 22 Feb 2003
My mum gave this book to me a few years ago and I devoured it within a month, I found it a compelling page turner. The blurb says it's the nearest you can get to an affair without actually having one, and it's all true. I do think Connie's taste in men is apalling, John Harding is the most repulsive man ever, I guess sometimes you want a little excitement? I experienced every single emotional high and low right along with Connie and loved every moment, especially the ending. Right after I finished it the book came into great demand from friends wanting to take it on holidays for a poolside page turner. So far nobody I know that read it had a bad word to say!

5.0 out of 5 stars A good classical read, 22 Feb 2003
I found this book an interesting read, sort of a cross between Moll Flanders and the film Personal Services. I could really feel for Fanny and her torments, only when she is reduced to the lowest circumstances does she embark on her career as a prostitute. She tells the story of her life in a matter of fact way without the shame and embarassment many people are overcome with, it's pure honesty and an intrigiung view into the debauchery of the eighteeth century.
