5.0 out of 5 stars Really useful., 5 Oct 2013
I know Nigel Slater is a tad bit controversial. I find people either like him or hate him but this book is good. It has loads of nice little ideas for mains, sides, snacks and desserts. The ingredients aren't too expensive and a lot of it is stuff I tend to buy everyday. As well as this, there are some nice and daring recipes if you want to splash out a bit. So many ideas that you wouldn't think of but can easily do with left overs in the fridge or pick up in the supermarket easily. Really pleased with this one.

So I don't think it is what it says on the tin but it is okay, maybe I'll use about 5 recipes to try out. Lorraine Pascals books use much less and cheaper ingredients and they aren't even supposed to… Read more
