This is an exhaustive and mostly enjoyable account of Led Zeppelin's rise and fall. While not authorized, Mick Wall has had plenty of first-hand access to band members and associates, and his knowledge of their history is positively encyclopaedic.

He takes a leap by imagining first-person commentaries from band members - the italicized parts - mimicking their thoughts and spoken mannerisms (Page ambitious and secretive, Plant na´ve and boastful, Jones quiet and studious, Bonham & Grant aggressive and sweary). A very perceptive insight into the deeper significance of fairy tales. Tony's personal understanding of higher states of consciouness and his reserch into the ancient mystery schools allowed him to see the hidden meaning and richness of faiy tales as a means to pass knowlegde of different levels of initiation and evolution to different levels of inividual awareness.An enlightening read.

'Love Begins At 40' is a welcome and necessary guide to dating and relating in middle age. The complexities in many people's lives after age forty - children, careers, general resistance to change - mean we can use some positive encouragement to help us find somebody. Cherry Gilchrist and Lara Owen are two experienced teachers and therapists who take a multi-level, yet grounded approach to their subject, writing clearly, with insight and practical wisdom.
