Negative Binomial Regression by Hilbe
4.0 out of 5 stars Useful and comprehensive, 16 April 2013
This is an excellent book which places negative binomial models in context. Explains what they are, when they are useful and how to use them.
Generalized Linear Models and Extensions, Third Ed&hellip by James W. Hardin
1.0 out of 5 stars Generally disappointing, 16 April 2013
I found this book disappointing nothin its coverage and in what it did advice give it a miss it really isn't worth the effort of reading it.
Getting Started with RStudio by John Verzani
I ordered this book hoping to learn how to get the best out of R Studio. The basics of setting up the console and running analyses using this interface. The book is written more like a manual and really doesn't help someone wanting to know why you should use R Studio and how to get the best out of it. I have read a lot of books about R and this was singularly the most disappointing.
