The DVD release has no extras, and the transfer quality seems a little grainy compared to most DVDs (I got used to it quickly, however, soon realising that it was better than what I used to get on TV, and infinitely better than my composting Press Gang videos). Still, it is a wonderfully clever show, and still a good watch after all these years.

What I like best about this book are the lovely, quirky pictures by the creator of the Church Mice books - the cats are alive and mischievous, and doing all manner of catty things. (I haven't tried any of the recipes yet, but enjoy leafing through the pictures - it's such a beautiful book!)
The text begins by giving a very brief history of cats living with people, and then gives laymen's information on cat's dietary needs, holistic health, and fitness (including ideas for getting your cat active).
