5.0 out of 5 stars amazing, 1 May 2007
I coudent put this book down. The illustration of life under the communist government and the prior administrations of the kuomintang and the imperial government is incredibly eye opening and illustrative.

I particulay like it because it fuses a personaly humanitarion story with the history as it happens, giving a duel insight to events at the time (revolution, ww2, cultural revolution) and how that effected the charectors and authers in the book. Well worth a read.

As for the last reveiwer who is living in cloud cuckoo land. Not being able to get by on £40 ish a week in Britain is no where near as bad as 30 million people starving to death on the wym of one man or… Read more

He also talks about the ACLU and the effect they have on… Read more

Along with the chilling stars, there are now finally books being printed with some commmon sense about climate change. This book puts all the contary opinion in one place and explains easy to understand language why the notian we're all going to die unless we surrender our money and libertys to our government to stop climate change is a myth.

The book points out hyprocracys such as when the green lobby says global warming "is the greatest threat, worse then terroism" So when solutions to CO2 emissions such as "sinks" (artificial forests) and nuclear powerplants are proposed, they lobby to get rid of these solutions from the kyoto treay. BEcause suddenly, artificial forests and… Read more
