This is Jinsy [DVD] DVD ~ Chris Bran
This is Jinsy [DVD] DVD ~ Chris Bran

The most original, whimsical and surreal comedy I've ever seen. If you've ever been to the Channel Islands (where the creators and main characters - Chris Bran and Justin Chubb, magnificent as Sporral and Arbiter Maven - are from) then you will appreciate what inspired of some of Jinsy's wackier traditions, but it'd make anyone with a sense of humour hoot. It is a rare thing in being child-friendly family viewing too - my 7-year-old son adores it, and has downloaded all the songs. I've just bought this book so I can't (yet) speak for its revolutionary weight loss achievements, though I hope to be able to report back on that in due course! However, it's an absolutely beautiful book full of just the right level of cheerful encouragement and advice, but with firm direction on how to actually set about shifting the weight. India and Neris look completely gorgeous anyway, but they are dramatically more sylph-like at the end of the book. It's so much more cheering to take the advice of two down-to-earth women whose figures and starting BMIs are like mine than the usual sticks of spaghetti who write diet books to hector the rest of us. The book contains blog-like sections… Read more
