I wanted to write this virtually as soon as it was read, basically to avoid senior moments creeping in. It's been two days, but here goes......
I liked it. Did it capture the original style? I don't really think so, but should it have? Again, I don't really think so.
The story statrs with Poirot moving into a guest house in London in an attempt to chill, but as you'd expect trouble finds him and he can't resist. Gone are Hastings and Miss Lemon, being replace with another hapazard Scotland Yard detective. In many ways I felt the author treated this detective more harshly than previous incarnations.
