Tacwise Heavy Duty 140 TypeStaples 10mm (2000) by Tacwise
5.0 out of 5 stars It's A Box of Staples, 14 Aug 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Well what else can you say about a pack of staples? I defy even the best author to make any other comment than they are there to do the job. They certainly don't look any different to the Arrow staples that worked with the Tacwise stapler I have so I can't say if there are any real benefits to stickong with the brand.
Rapesco X5-90PS Less Effort Heavy Duty Stapler by Rapesco
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Defintely better than the small weedy ones we normally have. This is one is quite big but not too bulky. Very well made and as an experiment I folded over an A4 envelope quite a few times to get something that would be beyond the typical types and it stapled without any effort at all. The supplied staples are too big for stapling single sheets together so that's the only thing to watch out for.
Pasta: The Essential New Collection from the Maste&hellip by Antonio Carluccio
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
No surprise that Antonio Carlucci knows what he's talking about but this is a well set out book and even if you don't want to make your own (no harm in buying fresh or dry) because the sauces look great and not too much trouble which is the problem with a lot of cooking. Nothing better than a good pasta meal as youu can knock up something in a flash that is tasty and avoids all the issues with ready made meals.

I can't take not of his warning that it is bad egg to be cutting up spaghetti with a knife (I don't care, I'll carry on) but I was surprised that using a fork and spoon is seen as a no no according to the author in the first part of the book.
