Dangerous Frontiers: Campaigning in Somaliland and&hellip by Colonel Bryan Ray
4.0 out of 5 stars good read, 1 Feb 2014
I have spent time in Oman in the 70s and this is a well written and accurate record of the time. I totally enjoyed it and would without hestitation recomend to any students of history the earlier part of the book concening somaliland. Todays problems in that troubled land are put into historical context. Useful book.

A read this and then passed it on to my 13 year old daughter. She was studying the period at school. We have friends in Hamburg and we had spent the summer on the baltic coast. It opened her eyes to a period of history not well reported by the victors of a very terrible time. Its a good book and well written. History is written by the victors. Its good to get an insight into what the people of East Prussian endured in the terrible winter of 1945.
