I have mixed race-Afro Caribbean hair and find that this product works well for me - it creates a sleek and moisturised finish. Other users have criticised the stickiness of the product and prefer the often lauded Frizz Ease alternative but I've tried this product and found the results to be inferior compared to using the GHD Thermal Protector - I actually deliberately parted my hair in the middle and used the GHD on one half and the Frizz Ease on the other - the difference was really noticeable. While the interface, functions etc etc of this printer are excellent I would like to add my voice to those other reviewers who have encountered cartridge recognition errors. These started relatively soon after I had purchased the printer - the machine refused to recognise the blue cartridge and then the yellow. Cartridges are expensive and I resent having to pay the extra money when the cartidges I have are full of ink and legitimate, Canon products. If this many people are experiencing problems then it's obviously not a one-off siutation - do yourself a favour: buy another printer!
