I really enjoyed this book. It is exciting, the villain is believable, clever and cunning. Many authors have difficulty managing believable villains, they often become cartoonlike and superhuman in their abilities or overly clever in the crimes they commit.
It is well written and doesn't delve into gruesome unpleasantnesses. The main characters are believable and sympathetic.
I will certainly be seeking out his other titles by him

Great fun. My son loves Defiants. They bounce really well on the trampoline, and once set up correctly you can have quite a chin of them scuttling around.

This is book 2. If you"Click to look inside" you will actually see pages from book 1. This is a little confusing.

Book 2 carries on from where book 1 left off. It has some nice photos not seen in the first book and some really great period adverts showing buggies.
The previous book is a much better book, but that is to be expected as it covers the heyday of buggies and encapsulates the excitement and innovation of the time. This book covers what happened once the excitement had died down, and brings us nearly up to date. It is a pleasing book to own, and is something you would want to have if you already own book 1, but it doesn't really strand up on its own. It feels like… Read more
