There are many criticising reviews of think tank. Many fans feel that blur are incomplete without coxon, and that they have abandoned their fanbase. In some ways this is true, however what albarn and co. are are musicians; and musicians foremost. Blur have become a victim of pop culture, and with it comes the problems of over-commercializing and the 'fateful' concept album. However i am one of the few believers that think that this album is a musical canvas waiting to be explored, and it is only when you look deeper that you appreciate it's value. I must say when i bought mgs2 i had never played mgs thus adding to the whole experience. I have now gone back and completed the first game and i must say; i am one of a small number of people that thinks the sequel is better.
Sure, the original was a masterpiece, and the battle with psycho mantis has to be one of my favourite moments in gaming history. But for me the original lacks the depth of the sequel. Mgs2 is full of twists and turns to keep even the most incompetant gamer still playing.
