Dr. Martens Women's Triumph 1914 Black/Green Lace &hellip Dr. Martens
3.0 out of 5 stars Lovely, but not black!, 20 Sep 2013
I bought these boots after wanting them for ages, my old 14-hole DMs are getting holes in the soles so thought it was time for a new pair.

The boots arrived very quickly and fit the same as any other DMs. The floral lining is pretty, as are the ribbon laces, although they're a bit fiddly whe you're in a hurry compared to normal laces (which are also supplied). Posters: Ballet Poster Art Print - Pointe Shoes, R&hellip by 1art1®
1.0 out of 5 stars Ribbons Are All Wrong!, 15 Sep 2013
I found this whilst searching for ballet posters and thought it looked nice in the thumbnail until I actually opened the larger version. This looks like a poster that was taken of someone who isn't actually a dancer, or at least hasn't been taught how to tie her ribbons properly, they should be tied at the side, not the back (it's bad to have the knot against the Achilles tendon) and the ends should be tucked away so as to create a smooth line, not left hanging and looking sloppy. Such a shame as it would be a nice picture if the shoes had actually been tied properly!

These are clearly not Dr Martens, it even says the brand is Water Color, so why describe them as Dr Martens boots? Definite false advertising for an ugly pair of boots trying to leech off the popularity of a big brand.
