5.0 out of 5 stars Dotty about nail art, 8 Aug 2012
Mother and daughter both love these nail art tools. Simple but effective. As it is the summer holidays 10 yr old daughter can wear creative designs on toes and fingers. Designs change daily. Lots of compliments from friends and strangers alike. Perfect inexpensive gift for young girls, buy a few sets, split them up and they make great party bag fillers, just add the polish!
Crayola AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio with Night Light by Crayola
Getting an 8 yr old out of bed for school is not easy. With the help of this lovely clock radio life in our household is less frantic in the mornings. My daughter now wakes up to her favourite radio show at 6.30am - her choice, not mine - gets washed and dressed and comes downstairs for breakfast. We could get out of the house with ease at 7.15am but the school is not open at this time. Shame!
The Blue Skies of Autumn: A Journey from Loss to L&hellip by Elizabeth Turner

For me this was a very fast read, all housework was put on hold until I had read the last word. Elizabeth's journey was all too public when it started. It brought back memories of 11 September 2001. She goes on to reveal her innermost thoughts, those the press didn't get their hands on. This story is not fiction, it is a well documented account of a woman who lost a husband in the most awful of circumstances. She recounts the emotions, acts of kindness and her reluctance to give in to herself. Apart from the achievement of having a book published she has a lot to be proud of. The book is there waiting for you to read it. I did, and I feel better for it.
