I spent a long time searching the web for a waterproof Bluetooth speaker with good sound quality. Reading the reviews at Amazon USA convinced me that this was worth a go. I was impressed with the speaker as soon as I took it out of the box and saw and felt how rugged it is. I was even more impressed when it charged-up in just a couple of hours. I was further impressed when the battery lasted two months, being used for 20-30 minutes every day - I kid you not. I am using the speaker inside a shower cubicle where it gets thoroughly soaked - this has caused it no problems whatsoever. It's plenty loud enough to hear and I like the nice neutral sound it puts out (just as well as there are no EQ… Read more

I used this laptop for less than an hour before deciding it had to go back - I just couldn't live with the appalling screen which Lenovo should be ashamed of themselves for using in a laptop at this price. Reviews I had read of the Z500 (just try googling "Lenovo Z500 touchscreen review") had led me to believe it had a 1600x900 screen. I could have lived with the resolution but the second and far more serious problem is the image quality. When I was setting up my user account I noticed that some of the text at the top of the screen was spidery, as if font… Read more

Apple were amongst the first in IT to realise that even the unboxing of a new bit of kit should be an experience. Silverpower have taken this lesson to heart and on opening the box of this item you discover the PSU itself lovingly wrapped in a velvet bag - I kid you not! The power cables also come in two bags - one for the motherboard cables and one for the peripheral cables, making it very easy to find the right cable when you need it. I now have three nice bags for keeping spare bits of IT kit in. Installation of the PSU should be simple as it is of standard dimensions. In my case I had a bit of a problem because the brand name manufacturer of my PC had built the case with standard screw… Read more
