2.0 out of 5 stars Excellent...but!, 3 Feb 2014
It's very clever, the set up is easy and it looks the part. OK so far then.

The sound quality is good and so is the volume. It was also a doddle to connect to my network and within a few minutes it had found all the music stored on various devices around the house and was happily playing an MP3 from the Passport drive plugged into the router. Playback from Windows Media player can be done remotely (even when the radio is in 'standby') and you can cue tracks and change the volume from the computer.

DAB found all the stations I wanted and the Internet Radio facility found a million others that I will probably never listen to.

Great spec on the face of it but it's slightly let down by a poor viewing angle and a few other niggles eg it won't charge from USB, the volume is a bit low, it's not got the brightest screen and doesn't have GPS.

That said, look how much it is! If you want any of the missing bells and whistles you'll pay a hell of a lot more to get them.

As a method of browsing the web and email, playing games and watching streaming TV programmes, this is ideal. Plus my little lad can use it without me panicking every time he picks it up!

It comes with 16GB of RAM but this can be easily updated to 48GB via a micro SD Card slot.

One thing to note is that the… Read more
Uniross Hybrio (Multi Usage) Industrial AA 2100 mA&hellip by Uniross

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Batteries, 16 July 2013
I always look out for these Uniross Hybrios when they're on offer as I've tried all kinds over the years but In my opinion these are the best.

I have dozens of them (AAA and AA) and they last for ages even when regularly recharged. In over 5 years I've yet to have a single problem with any of them.

I paid a little over a quid a battery for these but do keep your eyes open as the price does vary a lot. Excellent quality.
