The introduction is useful. Some of the recipes are ok and I will use them. But to say that this is tailored to British taste and shopping is a total misnomer. Is almond flour the same as ground almonds? How is pumpkin Pie a Brit dish?! And I have yet to find coconut oil as a readily available ingredient. I think I will manage perfectly well, using the suggested ingredients and designing my own recipes... I'm just happy that his was not an expensive book!
4000 sounds like a lot; but it isn't! I ordered two packs, one white and one blue. They came in an ordinary DL envelope, with a bit of plastic stuck over the front. Inside one of the bags was burst - so crystals poured out - thankfully over the desk so I was able to catch them. For this 'shipping' I was charged £1.40 per set- £2.80 for an envelope & 2nd class post is a rip off. They are exactly as described - but you aren't buying 4000 plus the free smaller ones... its 2000 of each size - again it's in the description, but the header implies 4000 all the same size. they will do the job - but I am a bit disappointed that the quanitity isn't as much as I'd imagined
ordered this for a bit of fun at a christening celebration - and it worked a treat - needs to be put onto a cloth, or mat as straight onto the table the vibrations (which I din't notice) made it travel! It was a little awkward getting the batteries in and out - but not enough to warrant a lower score- we had great fun with it!
