Wenko 144726100 Bamboo Toilet Seat - Chrome-Metal &hellip by Wenko
3.0 out of 5 stars DISAPPOINTING, 18 Sep 2014
The seat is fine but I don't like the metal fittings at all. They look and feel cheap and I doubt they will last long. Not a good fit to my 1961 pan but the tool for tightening the nuts was very useful. With hindsight I would have preferred to pay more for better fittings. There were no instructions inside, just those printed on the box (and intended for many countries) so not much use.

Please read my review of Series 1 first. The first thing to state is that the packaging of these Series 2 DVDs is very cheap and very nasty. Whoever was responsible should be ashamed. It's a struggle to release the inner contents from the card box (there is no plastic) only to find that each of the 4 DVDs has been shoved into a slit in the inner card. Kevin Spacey's character is still going places in Washington DC but - hey! - there are four discs to fill so there's no rush. If the going gets tough then pad out a sub-plot and (just to show this is cutting-edge) throw in some inter-racial and lesbian sex… Read more

Any biography of Peiper is going to attract controversy. He was a highly decorated soldier and a Colonel in the Waffen SS at 30. He served in Hitler's favourite unit and was, for a time, on the personal staff of Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler, the head of the SS. The controversy relates to his involvement in wartime atrocities, in particular the infamous 'Malmedy Massacre' for which he was sentenced to death by the Americans but later reprieved, only to be murdered at his home in France in 1976.

The author of this biography was born in 1966 and was (at the time of publication) a Lt. Colonel (Reserve) in the Bundeswehr. He is a man who clearly has his own agenda with this book… Read more
