5.0 out of 5 stars A writer of genius, 24 Jan 2012
I read a lot, and I can almost never be bothered to review what I've read. The fact that I am writing this is a mark of just how much I loved this book. It manages to be funny and scary and clever all at the same time. I can't wait for the next books. In fact - the only problem with finding an author like this is that they haven't had time to build up a body of work that you can rip through in a month. Get writing Ben! I want a book every 6 months at least.

The Great Escape by Natalie Haynes
The Great Escape by Natalie Haynes
I've seen Natalie Haynes perform as a stand-up comedian, so thought I would give her book a go as well. What a delight to find a comedian who can actually write... This is definitely great for children - although don't be surprised if they finish the book and start waving a placard outside the nearest animal-testing laboratory.
