Recently, my local council enforced recycling on us. A positive thing, sure, but it would help if those morons would provide us with sufficient information instead of saying "put all your food in the garbage with the green covered lid - unbagged". Since I didn't want to have food clogging up the bin with all that it entails, I searched for something called a compostable bag (didn't have a clue what it was). When I stumbled on this on Amazon, I figured I might as well take a chance. It turns out everything about this product is right. Whatever else anyone may say about this being a missed opportunity to create an exhaustive box set (which it is), no one can fault the sonics of this marvellous release. Frankly, I wasn't really expecting much but the second I put this on I was gobsmacked by its lushness and pounding bass. It is one million times better than the original 45s of which I have two (screechy, shouty sound). It is very musical, listenable and captures the emotional intensity of the girls perfectly. Full marks for the remaster job.

Like everyone else reading this review, I purchased this item on the basis of all the incredible things I had heard about it. And while it is unquestionably a good amp, there are certainly limitations as to how much it can enhance listening pleasure or provide improvements to the sound.

My set up is as follows:

iPod Classic 30GB -> Belkin connector via dock -> GS Voyager - > Sennheiser 595 or PX100

I use a mixture of Apple lossless and various mp3s (192k minimum)
